Skillshare Honest Review For Designers, Internet Marketers And Everybody.

I signed up for Skillshare Because of free trial.

The day BEFORE my trial was designed to end I received an email from them thanking me for subscribing to Premium.

Naturally, I was confused. It is normal for companies to offer free trials in hopes that you enjoy the item enough to really pay for it. What isn't normal is for the company to LIE for you and bill you the day before the free trial will even finish, in effect alerting you and stealing your money. I was furious.

I looked on the internet and following 30 minutes of digging, I found a phone number for your company (Red flag, what valid company doesn't have an easily accessible customer service number?) . I called this number and it went directly to voicemail. The voice on the voicemail seemed like a stoned college child, finish with "ums" and "likes"(Red flag amount two). Now I was freaking out cause all these adventures were leading me to think this actually was a scam. The only option left to me is to compose them an email via their site. This was over 3 months ago, and I have yet to have a response.

I'm appalled at the way that they handle business (by first tricking their clients, then dismissing their issues). They stole my cash without warning and are currently unreachable.

I went back to their site as well as their advertising for Premium is really a lie. It clearly says that your Premium accounts is cancelable at any time. What they actually mean is it's possible to cancel it so that it won't renew at the next billing cycle (which can be an whole year!!) . They 13 Skillshare classes from famous designers and illustrators ... are crooks. If their articles were good, I'd have happily continued with their solutions, but all their videos are items I could locate on YouTube or alternative places for free. The one thing I an do now is save other people the hassle.

DO NOT sign up for the free trial. If you do a bit more research you'll find a plethora of different reviews like mine.

Go to Lynda.com or YouTube. Please, don't make the same mistake I did, and stay away!!

I composed Skillshare one last time, also it seems like from the previous 4 weeks they have upped their customer support game. I got a biased response apologizing to my prior experience and with an offer to repay me all of my money. This gesture has been more than I expected, and I am thankful to know that individuals do actually work in this company, and it appears they're listening to the negative reviews and seeking to create a better firm.
